From one angle, you could say that this is the most important e-wire we will send out this year. It points EVERYONE to a POSTIVE SOLUTION that can be implemented by all 3075 counties in the United States RIGHT NOW.
If there is ONE QUESTION I hear from those of you on this list, it is, "What can I do NOW?" Here it is:

For just as national defense should be our protection against foreign enemies, honest elections should be our defense against domestic enemies. So enforcing a "black box", "counted in secret", unverifiable election is, -- in our judgment, -- TREASON against the people of the United States.

In the natural order, with regard to the 2000 elections -- EVERYTHING, every issue depends on what happens regarding this issue. Watch how vigorously and frantically the two Major Parties and the 5 Big TV Networks will fight this solution - IF we can make it an issue in time. It's up to us. We're "home alone." The slogan for my oldest son's high school senior class -- the class of 2000 - was "if it's going to be, it's up to me."

You don't have to abandon the issue or issues you feel are the most important, just realize and say that BECAUSE you care so much about you're the issues you are now fighting for - that you DEMAND your right: honest, verifiable, transparent elections.
