Time & Place - CFVC Convention Preview - Part 3

Before looking at the timing and place of the CFVC (Citizens for a Fair Vote Count) Convention, let's study the convention schedule for the major parties which have the potential to significantly effect the Presidential Election, and the likely presidential nominiees of each. Here they are, in chronological order:
Constitution Party - Sept 1 to 6, 1999, St. Louis, Missouri (already over); Howard Phillips, nominee.
Green Party - June 24, 25, 2000 in Denver, California, likely nominee, Ralph Nader.
Southern Party - July 1, 2000, Charleston, South Carolina - not nominating a Presidential nominee, but will endorse one.
Natural Law Party - July, 2000 - with over a half hour of looking, I couldn't find ANY information on the exact date of the Natural Law Party 2000 Convention on the official website - the July 2000 date was offered on a general convention information website; likely candidate: John Hagelin.
Republican Party - July 29 to Aug 4, 2000, Philadelphia. Likely nominee: George W. Bush
Reform Party - August 10-13, 2000, Long Beach, California; likely nominee, Pat Buchanan.
Democratic Party - August 14-17, 2000, Los Angeles, California, likely nominee, Al Gore.
We've had requests to move the convention to California after the Reform Party convention, but the above schedule makes it obvious that we would be clashing with the Democratic Convention, reducing our chance for coverage on C-Span, and much other media, to zero. More importantly, at this juncture, we just don't have enough resources to be able to plan and control such an event from Cincinnati -- and make sure everything goes right. . . . The odds on favorite dates are August 25, 26, 27, 2000, and the odds on favorite place is Cincinnati, Ohio - because that's where our little crew can have hands on control.
One thing I forgot on the recent ewire regarding speakers for the panel session: we want Doug Zeitz and Chris Schaper, the two gentlemen who joined me in Dubuque, Iowa 1996 (both were Buchanan organizers) and witnessed and helped discover and piece together the proof of votefraud perpetrated by Voter News Service against Pat Buchanan and the people of Dubuque. We'd also like to see Tim Wozniak, the Loras College Student who discovered that results in the 1996 GOP Iowa caucus were being called in to Voter News Service. . . .. and there's two more quests we'd like to see at the Citizens for a Fair Vote Count convention --- and I can't believe that I forgot to mention them in the "potential speakers e-wire of a few days ago" - they were in my mind, but didn't make it onto the paper. But that will be tomorrow's e-wire.
