Maricopa County Elections                                            Nov. 1, 2000

     This is a request for public records pursuant to A.R.S. 39-121.

Please furnish me a certified copy of the following public record:

1. Certified copy of the computer printout of test results showing that the software used to test logic and accuracy on the C4 computer and the Eagle Optech III-P scanner on Oct.23rd and Oct 31st, 2000, was also tested for  any hidden devices or subroutines such as "Trojan horses", "trap doors", "wait loops," "flip flops", "Christmas trees" within the source code.

2. The name, title, credentials and employer's address of the person(s) who did the testing for such devices.

3. The total number of Eagle Optech III-P scanners tested, the percentage of machines tested out of 1,007 precincts in Maricopa County, the serial numbers of the machines tested, and the percentage error rate for total number of machines to be used on Nov.7, 2000.

4.  A copy of the payroll receipt for each of the referenced workers for work done on 10-23-00 and 10-31- 00.

     Please make sure your agency's SEAL and your JOB TITLE  are on the certification letter.
